A community–wide food box program providing emergency food assistance for individuals and families in need once per month. This program provides a box of food, which may include canned fruits and vegetables, meat, peanut butter, eggs, cereal, macaroni and cheese, soup, and bread, when available. Families qualify at 130% of the Federal poverty level, which for a family of four is $1993.33 per month gross. Spanish translation is available along with referrals to UMUM programs (Drop-In Center for the homeless, Klothes Kloset, Transitional Housing Program, Work Options, Vision Quest) and information regarding other help agencies within the community. |

Call for days and hours of operation
A monthly food box program for income eligible postpartum women for one year, pregnant women, and children from birth to the month they turn six years old who do not receive WIC, and elders age 60+. This program food is provided by USDA through the State of Kansas and includes canned juice, fruit, vegetables, milk & meat, peanut butter or dry beans, cereal, macaroni or rice, and 2# of cheese for each family member who qualifies by age and income. It is available in Sedgwick and the nine surrounding counties. Women and children are qualified at 185% of Federal poverty level ($2,836 gross monthly income for a family of four); elders qualify at 130% of the Federal poverty level ($1,313 gross monthly income for two in the household).

This free clothing program is open three days a week. Families may be served once each month. The clothing, from infants to adults, is provided at no cost to any client who need them.
Clean, gently used clothing donations are accepted Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. and on Saturday from 8:00 - 11:30 a.m.
